Wes Okafor, Owner
I started this location in 2016 after ten years of crawling through attics from San Antonio to Austin and seeing the same thing over and over: blown insulation dumped on top of leaky top plates, can lights pumping conditioned air straight into the ridge vent, and homeowners who’d paid good money for a job that never started with sealing. I hold a BPI Building Analyst certification and I’m certified in spray foam application through Demilec. My favorite tool is the blower door, not because it’s flashy, but because it gives me a number I can show you, 4,200 CFM50 before, 2,100 after, and you don’t have to take my word for anything. On weekends I fish the Guadalupe below Canyon Lake and pretend the cell phone works out there.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with us since 2019 and runs the crew on every attic insulation removal and replacement job we handle in New Braunfels, plus the trickier spray foam installs in older homes around Gruene where the roofline geometry doesn’t cooperate. He’s certified in Owens Corning AttiCat blown-in systems and holds a mold remediation technician certificate, which matters more than you’d think when we open up a thirty-year-old attic and find what the raccoons left behind. Marcus is the one who double-checks that every can light gets its ten-inch clearance box before we blow anything. He rebuilds vintage motorcycles in his garage in Seguin and will talk your ear off about carburetor tuning if you let him.
Dana R., Senior Installer
Dana specializes in crawl space encapsulation and vapor barrier work, the jobs where you’re on your belly in ninety-degree Texas humidity for six hours and still have to produce a clean seam weld at the end of it. She came to us from commercial roofing in 2018 and brought a tolerance for tight spaces that the rest of us envy. Dana is certified in Johns Manville crawl space systems and she’s our go-to for radiant barrier installation in the newer builds around Veramendi where the attic temperatures hit 140 degrees in August. She keeps a detailed log of every home’s before-and-after blower-door numbers and can tell you, without checking, which house on River Road dropped from 5,800 to 2,400 CFM50 last March. Her two kids think she fixes “basements,” and she’s stopped correcting them.
Elena V., Service Coordinator
Elena answers the phones, schedules the crews, and makes sure the written price, the written scope, and the written warranty all land in your inbox before anyone drives to your house. She’s the live person who picks up at 10 PM when your AC is running nonstop and you suspect the attic insulation got displaced during that last storm. Elena joined us in 2021 after managing dispatch for an HVAC company in San Marcos, so she actually understands what you’re describing when you say “the second floor won’t cool down.” She tracks every job’s Documented Photo Record and sends the link before the crew packs up. She grows tomatoes in raised beds behind her place in New Braunfels and brings the extras to the office in summer, which is the only reason the rest of us tolerate her.
Jake P., Apprentice Installer
Jake started with us in 2024 after two years in residential framing and a brief, self-described “disastrous” attempt at auto repair. He’s working through his BPI Building Analyst training and currently handles attic air sealing, the meticulous work of foaming and caulking top plates, wire penetrations, and duct boots before the insulation crew follows behind. Jake has the patience for it. He also does the attic cleaning and rodent proofing jobs, which means he’s the one who finds the mummified possums and keeps his composure. He lives in a fixer-upper in McQueeney that he’s insulating one room at a time, badly, by his own admission, which is why Marcus checks his work.
